About us

My name is Chris Gaddis and my aim is to establish an AAU basketball team comprising of MP boys. The primary objective of the team is to offer a platform for the boys to play and learn the game together, resulting in enhanced performance for their middle and high school teams.
As a firm believer in the benefits of AAU basketball, having played in my youth and coached for several years at middle and high school levels, my focus is on the team’s growth and development. Ideally, the team would operate year-round, holding a few practices per week and participating in a one or two tournaments each month. The main emphasis would be on developing fundamental skills and teamwork, setting the players up for success throughout high school and beyond.
My experience in AAU basketball dates back to fifth grade, and I played through high school while also playing Division 3 college basketball. Additionally, I have coached at the middle and high school levels, as well as my kids’ youth teams, for many years. The team’s objective is to play year-round, providing the boys with the opportunity to practice and compete outside of the season with manageable commitments of a practice or two per week and a tournament or two per month. I understand many kids play other sports and have other commitments and we will be fully flexible with them.
I am excited about the prospect of coaching your boys and contributing to the growth of the MP boys basketball program.
